Illegal beauty enhancement clinic raided
A JOINT police-military team this morning (Oct. 31) raided an illegal beauty clinic in the northern Thai province of Lampang where a transvestite died during breast enlargement surgery, the Thai-language Daily News reported.
The owner was not in the clinic, and the officers took 10 employees to the provincial police station for interrogation.
The officers did not find any medical registration paper inside the clinic. It is mandatory for any beauty enhancement clinic to register with the Public Health Ministry.
