Interpol issues arrest warrant for Red Bull heir

INTERPOL has issued an arrest warrant for Vorayuth Yoovidhya, who was charged with killing a Thai policeman in a car accident in Bangkok in 2012, reported today (Sept. 12).

The 35-year-old heir to the Red Bull energy drink empire has been on the run for five years, living abroad to evade arrest by Thai police.

The arrest warrant was posted on the Interpol website on September 11. Police in 190 Interpol member countries can arrest Mr Vorayuth and send him back to Thailand.
