Khon Kaen pawnshops doing brisk business
ALL pawnshops in the municipal area of the northeastern Thai province of Khon Kaen have seen a big increase in clients as the new school term is approaching, INN News reported today (April 28).
Miss Suvimon Wickman, who runs the provincial municipality pawnshop, said the number of her clients has gone up from around 200 to 500 this year.
The items brought to the pawnshops range from silver spoons, silk clothes, long drums and Thai flutes.
