Heavy rain to continue till nightfall

IT started raining heavily in many parts of Bangkok from 12.50 p.m. today and this is likely to continue till nightfall, Matichon said today (April 28).

The downpour in neighboring Nonthaburi is so heavy that many areas of Bang Yai got flooded.

WAFF app shows that cloud clusters are moving into Bangkok from Chonburi as strong winds from the Gulf of  Thailand clashed with a high pressure system.

The wind direction from Samut Prakarn to Bangkok indicates that it will continue to rain in the capital till nightfall.

Royol Chitradon of Ministry of Science and Technology’s Hydro and Agro Informatics Institute said before noon that he is watching the clouds then covering north of Bangkok and Samut Prakan with his weather model (WAFF) showing that it will likely move to Bangkok in the afternoon and if it does it will start raining and this will turn heavy at night.
