New COVID-19 patient is 74-year-old man
A 74-year-old man in the southern Thai province of Nakhon Si Thammarat is the latest patient with COVID-19.
The old man, who lives in Bangkhan District, became sick after joining a group of gamblers. He was sent to Maharajnakhon Si Thammarat Hospital , where a doctor certified that he had contracted the virus.
The hospital has a Molecular Biology Laboratory, which can detect the DNA of the COVID 19- virus.
Nakhon Si Thammat now has a total of seven people with COVID-19. Four patients had earlier been released from hospital.
