Prayut leads NIDA poll for next PM
Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha is the top favorite in a new NIDA poll to return as prime minister after the next general election, Sanook.com reported today (Sept 23, 2018).
Gen Prayut received 29.66 percent of the vote, followed by Khunying Sudarat Keyuraphan of the Pheu Thai Party at 17.51 percent, and Future Forward Party leader Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit at 13.83 percent. Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva is in 4th place with 10.71 per cent.
Asked which party should be the core party in the next government, 28.78 percent said Pheu Thai, followed by Phalang Pracharat Party at 20.62 percent, and the Democrat Party at 19.58 percent.
