Spurned ex-boyfriend shoots young woman
A YOUNG accountant working for a private company in Chonburi was shot and severely injured by her former boyfriend after she rejected his overtures to get together again, Thai News Agency said today (June 23).
Officials gave Ms Siriampha Maneephan first aid and quickly rushed her to Chonburi Hospital after Mr Od, her ex-boyfriend, fired a bullet and injured her around her left ear.
Investigation showed that before the shooting Ms Siriampha had gone with three friend to Kor Kai restaurant in Muang district and while on the way she was approached by Mr Od to patch up relations. However when she rejected him he shot her with a pistol and then drove away in a pickup truck.
