Big parade in Korat for Dr Pak

ARMY medic Lt Col  Dr Pak Loharnshoon who stayed with 12 soccer boys and their coach in the flooded Tham Luang cave for days is getting a hero’s welcome at his northeastern hometown Nakhon Ratchasima, or Korat, Sanook.com reported today (July 17, 2018).

After being discharged from Chiangrai Prachanukroh Hospital Dr Pak went to Cherntawan International Meditation Center in Chiang Rai’s Mueang district to ask for the blessing of Phra Maha Vuttichai Wachiramatee before returning home.

Korat has arranged a parade around the city to welcome their hero back home and is giving him and all the other cave heroes an honor plaque and an ability shirt to encourage them to continue performing good deeds for the public.

There will be a detailed exhibition about Dr Pak and the cave rescue with youths invited to meet and talk to Dr Pak.
