Taxi driver fined for ‘dumping’ passenger

A Facebook member today (Oct 6, 2018) wrote about a taxi driver who told him to get off the car during a heavy rainstorm in Bangkok, Sanook.com reported.

“He asked me to leave but I refused. I waited until the rain stopped and left the car before informing the Land Transport Department (LTD),” wrote the male passenger.

LTD officials later caught the taxi driver, who was fined 1,000 baht and barred from driving for one month. He was also sent to an LTD unit for behavioral reform.
