Traffic snarls as people return home for Songkran holiday
A large number of provincial people working in Bangkok are returning home for the Songkran holiday, causing traffic snarls between kilometer markers 32-56 in Pakchong district of the northeastern province of Nakhon Ratchasima.
Highway Police 1 Officer Witsanu Kamnoanmuang and policemen together with volunteers have been directing heavy traffic from Klang Dong Market to Chokechai Farm in the afternoon of April 11, 2021.
A large number of motorists have slept in their cars at night and continued their travel at 8.00 a.m. All drivers must wear face masks at all times.
