Two million doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccine on the way
Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha said this morning (Jan 4, 2021) that the first shipment of two million doses of vaccine against Covid-19 will arrive in Thailand in about 1-2 months.
Twenty-six million more doses will be continually sent to the country, the Thai-language daily Matichon reported.
PM Prayut said the government and local units concerned are monitoring the Covid-19 situation on a daily basis. He encouraged people in Thailand to stay and work from home, and avoid places where there are a lot of people.
Asked if the government is considering locking down the country, the prime minister said he is monitoring the situation on a daily basis.
