2 motorbike drivers were arrested after having a gun battle on the road. Both drivers are local motorbike Win drivers on Udomsuk Road. 2 out of the 3 men that engaged in a fight on Sukhumvit 103/2 road. The police are waiting for an arrest warrant for other men that were involved in the fight.
Police Lieutenant General Suthipong Wongpin reported an update on the case where Win motorbike drivers started a fight on a public road in Sukhumvit 103/2 road in Bangna, Bangkok City. The fight was taken too far and 1 innocent citizen was killed from a gunshot. A Win motorbike driver involved in the fight also died coming to a total of 2 deaths.
The Bangna Police filed a report for the court to issue 3 arrest warrants, 1. Rangsan Win Bike No.65, 2. Pramuk the Win Motorbike leader at Udomsuk 1, and 3. Jirapong is known as Best from a local rescue team. The main charges include charges of murder, battery, carrying a weapon in a public place and other charges.
The police have successfully arrested 2 out of the 3 men under the power of arrest warrants. The police also discovered an 11mm gun as evidence in the case. The other suspect is in hiding, but the police believe that he is still residing in Bangkok. One of the main charges is carrying a weapon into a public place without reasonable reason. The reason behind this case is anger and ego, nothing good ever comes out from this combination.
The police are also working on finding evidence against other men that were involved in the fight in order to use as proof to report for more arrest warrants from the court. This is an important case that needs to be an example to protect other citizens from being harmed in public.
