Villagers complain Karaoke customers bad singing disrupts their sleep.
Villagers in Nonthaburi Province have been complaining about a local karaoke bar. Their main complaint is that the music is loud with bad singing that interrupts their sleep. The singing is off-key and affects their mental health. Villagers recorded videos showing the bad singing while the karaoke bar owner admits he realizes the customers are really bad singers and is stressed about the issue. There is a neighborhood located right next to Bua Thong Market in Bang Bua Thong District, Nonthaburi Province.
The karaoke bar is located inside the market and villagers who try to rest during the night cannot do so from the off-key singing. Sunantha Kumlun 56 years old, the market manager revealed to Khaosod News on 7 July 2023. The market never received complaints of loud music or else they would’ve done something. From watching the video she believes the sound is coming from a karaoke bar located at the back of the market. The market will give the karaoke bar a warning to lower the music and to turn their speakers away from the village.
Chuchat 62 years old the owner stated that the video was taken when a group of customers rented the entire bar for an event. It was an engagement party with about 10 customers. All of them were very drunk and kept fighting for the microphone. He tried to lower the volume but they started yelling and singing. He believes the issue will not continue as it was extremely loud just on that one night. He understands whoever took the video could no longer take the off-key singing. Chuchat wants to apologize to the affected villagers as the singing was terrible on that night.
