Wet markets found to have no license
THE car-bashing incident reported by Sanook.com yesterday has triggered another scandal after it was found that five wet markets located in that area have no proper licenses, Khao Sod newspaper reported today (Feb 21, 2018).
“The owners of the five markets have not paid any municipality tax since they started their business,” Bangkok Governor Aswin Kwanmuang told members of the media who accompanied him there.
The five markets named by Khao Sod are Suan Luang Rama 9 Market, Pern Market, Ying Nara Market, Roong Wanich Market, and Rom Luang Market.
Two market owners are found to have no legal license to build their markets, and three market owners have no license to operate their places as wet markets.
