Lampang opens its first school semester after Covid-19 problem

With a decrease in Covid-19 patients, 324 schools in 13 districts in the northern Thai province of Lampang today (June 1, 2021) open their first semester under a “New Normal” system.

At Boonwart Wittayalai School, where there are more than 4,000 students, each student will alternately come to school and everyone must wear a face mask and clean their hands with jell alcohol before entering their classes.

Only one gate is open to check each student, who must wear a face mask and practice social distancing.

All 324 schools in the province will open before 14 June 2021.

Regarding the Covid-19 situation, 252 patients have returned home, with 7 patients still recovering. Two patients have died. No new patients have been found during the past 5 days.
