Angry former husband kills new boyfriend
A LOVE triangle ended in the death of the new boyfriend of a woman whose former husband burst into his office and shot him after failing to patch it with her, Thai News Agency said today (Sept. 26).
Police in southern Hat Yai city rushed to investigate the shooting at Chedi Company located next to Phet Kasem highway with rescuers quickly taking the critically injured man, Yuphan Chandamanee, 37, to the hospital but he died before reaching it.
In front of this company they found a .38 bullet which they collected as evidence.
Investigation revealed that Yuphan was working in the company’s welding department with over 10 colleagues when he saw Suthep Chancharoen, the former husband of his girlfriend, Miss Sunthree Boonsanong, walk in.
The two of them stepped outside to resolve the love trangle but after 10 minutes a shot was fired and Suthep ran away.
Miss Sunthree told police that she broke up with her former husband three years ago but he frequently tried to patch up the relationship and once even threatened her with a pistol in her house which she reported to the police.
Police are confident of catching Suthep soon as they think he could not have gone very far away.
