Massive drug haul in Sukhothai
NARCOTICS police chalked up a massive drug haul in upper central Sukhothai city with this consisting of 100 million tablets of methamphetamine pills, or yaba, and 100 bars of heroin weighing 35 kilograms together worth 2.5 billion baht, INN News reported today (Sept. 17, 2018).
Arrested transporting this huge amount of drugs were Mr Prawit Saema, 67, Mrs Ying Saema, 54, Mrs Napha Kitpanich, 33, and Mrs Ker Saema, 49, all from western Tak province bordering Myanmar.
Narcotics police are in the process of bringing both the suspects and the huge drug haul to the Narcotics Suppression Bureau in Bangkok for further investigation.
There will be a press conference tomorrow giving the details of this massive drug bust.
