CH man with high fever runs away from hospital to nightclub.

Officials in Trang Province were on the search for a Chinese patient with high fever considered as a person with a high risk of the Coronavirus. After hours he was found hanging out at a local nightclub. Tests for Covic-19 turned out negative but the man is now under self-quarantine for 14 days as there is still a possibility that he might become a Coronavirus case. Police from the Trang Police Station, Tourist Police, and hospital employees were on the search on 26 February 2020 for 2 Chinese men who disappeared from a hospital, one of the men had a high fever.

The Chinese man with high fever was found at a nightclub in the main city of Trang. When asked about his travel history, the man states that he has been working at a factory in Trang Province for a long time. He confirms that he hasn’t traveled back to China in recent months. Before the high fever, the man went to the beach with some friends and was in the sun all day. As he started feeling unwell the man came to the hospital but he waited for over an hour and the doctor still didn’t show up. This is when he decided to walk out and went to have a good time at a nightclub.

The people of Trang were in shock after hearing the news of the escaped man, this is not surprising as everyone believed he was a tourist from China before the man revealed that he actually works in Thailand. The man was taken to Trang Hospital and tests for Covid-19 turned out negative but he is still on self-quarantine for 14 days. Luckily officials found the man, public fear would’ve been much worse if he was walking free around town.
