Fake beauty surgeon arrested

A fake beauty surgeon has been arrested but this is not the first time that this fake doctor has been caught. The Consumer Protection Police Division arrested the suspect known as Doctor Nan on 13 February 2022. Natchanan Pitakchaikorn 30 years old is suspected to have practiced medicine without the proper permission. The suspect used other doctor’s documents to land jobs at different beauty clinics. Many clinics have fallen victim to Doctor Nan. Police received information from a real doctor claiming her license was used by a different person for positions at 3 different clinics located in Bangkok and Pathum Thani Province. The real doctor is misunderstood as she never signed up for the jobs but her name was used. Officials issued an arrest warrant leading to the discovery and arrest of Doctor Nan. The suspect admitted to all charges.

Nan would post open jobs online and real beauty surgeons would send in their profile along with the documents. Nan would then save these documents and use them to apply for jobs at different clinics. The fake doctor claims she has committed the crimes because she needed money. When asked why, the suspect states she does not know how to do anything else and this is her only way of finding income. Officials are collecting more evidence to use in the case against Natchanan. In 2013 Nan opened an illegal clinic using fake diplomas and licenses. She studied how to use botox, fillers, and other beauty services from the internet. She would then perform real medical practices and surgical operations on patients at the clinic.
