Stars ask PM Prayut to support movies
THERE was an air of merriment when the stars of smash-hit historical TV drama BuppeSanNivas or Love Destiny came to Government House to ask Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha to support movies and drama of benefit to the country, Sanook.com reported this morning (April 3).
Thai Khu Fah building was extra lively when Culture Minister Veera Rojpojchanarat trooped in with BuppeSanNivas stars, Tanawat “Pope” Wattanaputi and Thai-British actress Ranee “Bella” Campen, as well as supporting actor Panjan Kawin Imanothai and several other members of the team.
Gen. Prayut asked them whether they wanted election to be held quickly.
The visiting team turned to Panjan to answer, and he said: “I can wait, I understand that we have to follow the road map.”
However, Tanawat jokingly told the Prime Minister: “Order him lashed”
And General Prayut jestingly replied: : “Off with his head.”
