Divers go into cave to bring out 9 people in one go
THE 3rd mission into the dangerously flooded Tham Luang Cave in northern Chiang Rai province to pull out the 9 remaining people stranded deep within got underway at 10.08 a.m. this morning (July 10, 2018), Thai News Agency reported.
Narongsak Osotthanakorn, head of the Cave Command Post, told the press that 19 divers have gone into the cave to bring out the 4 young soccer players, their coach, a doctor and 3 Navy Seals who stayed with them all at the same time.
Prior to the divers starting their mission all units confirmed that everything is ready in terms of the rescuers, the equipment and even the weather.
The experience that the divers gained over the past 2 days means they will be able to work faster today and would either finish the mission sooner than yesterday or at around the same time, he added.
