New bus service from Don Mueang to Khao San Road, Lumpini Park

IN making life easier for travelers disembarking at Don Mueang Airport the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority is launching two new buses routes on May 1 with one passing through Khao San Road and ending at Sanam Luang while the other ends at Lumpini Park, Manager Online said today (April 28).

With the whole route fare being only 30 baht,  the new service operates from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. with the buses leaving Don Mueang Airport’s Building 1, Gate 6 and Building 2, Gate 12.

New Airpot bus serviceThe new A3 route starts at Don Mueang Airport, goes through Don Mueang tollway followed by Chalerm Maha Nakhon expressway getting off at Patunam, runs through Ratchaprasong, Ratchdamri Road and ends at Lumpini Park.

A4 route starts at this airport, gets on Don Mueang tollway followed by Sirat expressway, gets off at Yommarat, runs through Luang Road, Phan Fa Lilat Bridge, Democracy Monument, passes Wat Bowonniwet Vihara temple, Khao San Road and ends at Sanam Luang.

Currently Bangkok Mass Transit Authority operates two bus routes from Don Mueang Airport with A1 going to Chatuchak every 12 minutes from 7 a.m. to midnight and A2  to Victory Monument and halting at Koh Phahon Yothin every 30 minutes.
