How a motorcycle ended up 4 meters above the road in an utility pole.
A rare and scary sight to be seen happened on the 10th of this month around 11 pm. An Isuzu motorbike was floating on the cables connected to the utility pole 4 meters above the road. The black electrical cables were supporting the weight of the whole motorbike and made it seem as if the motorbike was floating above in the air.
The incident was caused by an accident on the road that had such a hard crash that the motorbike ended up on the utility pole. Another motorbike came headfirst in front of an Isuzu truck that also took a heavy toll and flipped on the road, making the car almost unrecognizable.
The accident took place on road no.214 in Kapchueng district, Surin province. The Kapchueng Provincial Electricity Authority had to be involved as the electrical wired required specialists to help remove the motorbike from the utility pole back onto the road as evidence of what had happened and to be returned to the owner. The officials took about 20 minutes to successfully retrieve the motorbike, it is currently being kept at the Kapchueng Police Station.
Narongdej the truck driver reported that his truck was carrying the motorbike in the back when the accident happened. He was on his way to deliver the motorbike to a friends house in Prasat district. Then suddenly a bike cut him off by driving right in front of his truck. From shock and sudden instinct movement, Narongdej turned the wheel which made the truck fall off track of a road that was currently under construction. The truck flipped on the road a few times, ruining most of what made it a vehicle.
The motorbike that was in the back of the truck flew up in the sky and caught onto the cables connected to the utility pole 4 meters above the road. There were 5 men involved in the accident, despite the extreme conditions that took place in the accident, no one was killed. All men were injured but they are all confirmed safe.
