Nonthaburi police chief under investigation
Nonthaburi provincial police commander Pol Maj-Gen Paisarn Wongwatcharamongkon was transferred to an inactive post for 30 days pending an investigation into the raid on a major gambling den in the area under his responsibility, the Thai-language daily Khao Sod reported today (April 14, 2020)
A total of 122 gamblers were found in the gambling den in Nonthaburi province, adjoining Bangkok.
Five other senior police officers were also transferred to inactive duties pending an investigation into the gambling den raid.
