Nurse keeps cool handling a governor who fears needle
A nurse in the northern Thai province of Lampang has revealed her experience injecting a Covid vaccine to the governor who is afraid of the needle.
According to the Thai-language daily Matichon, Governor Narongsak Osottanakorn went to get his first injection of AstraZeneca vaccine yesterday (May 7, 2021).
A large number of local citizens were also there to receive the vaccine and chat with the governor.
A Facebook member later wrote on her page: “The governor was afraid of the needle. I heard that the nurse had to be very careful giving him the injection.”
All went well and 980 more people received the vaccine after the governor. More people will be vaccinated until June 21, 2021.
