Teacher held for procuring under-age girls for sex
A 51-year-old school teacher in the northeastern Thai province of Surin was arrested yesterday (Feb 28, 2020) and charged with providing underage girls for male clients, the Thai-language daily Khao Sod reported.
The teacher was held along with a 41-year-old karaoke bar owner after the Interior Ministry received a formal letter from an international organization against human trafficking.
In the karaoke bar, police found five girls, one of whom is only 15 years old.
The teacher charged each of his male clients 2,500 baht for the sex service and drove each of them to his resort, which is not far from the karaoke bar.
He also has a Facebook page in which he poses photos of sex service girls.
