Tragic Songkran for elderly woman
A 72-year-old woman was charged with manslaughter today (April 15) after killing her 57-year-old husband in a fit of anger, Sanook.com reported.
The woman told police that her husband always punched her when he got drunk. Last night, he attacked her again after returning home from a Songkran party.
“I fetched a hammer and told him to leave me alone, but he lunged at me. I hit him in the head several times until he fell down on the wooden floor,” she told police investigators.
