Well-wishers praying for His Majesty the King
MEMBERS of the public continue to pray and meditate for His Majesty the King at Siriraj Hospital for his good health this morning, Thai News Agency said.
Within the compound of Siriraj Hospital some of the people who slept there overnight and those who arrived this morning with most of them wearing pink shirts continue to pray for His Majesty in a demonstration of their devotion to him and wishing him good health.
According to the Bureau of the Royal Household’s 38th announcement on Wednesday night His Majesty the King’s general condition remains unstable and he has to be kept under close monitoring by Royal doctors at Siriraj hospital, Thai PBS said.
According to an announcement released on Tuesday, HM the King’s blood pressure dropped again and his pulse fastened as acid in the blood increased. Blood tests showed inflammation and abnormal function of the liver and doctors administered antibiotic to reduce acid in the blood and medication to control increased blood pressure.
Doctors also administered ventilator and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) on HM the King. The general condition has not stabilized and medication has to be applied.
Doctors are closely monitoring the symptoms and providing treatment accordingly, the announcement said.
