MICROSOFT added new Surface Laptop to its Surface lineup past Tuesday. Unlike the Surface tablet and tablet with detachable power-up keyboard parts Surface Book, the Surface Laptop is a true laptop form factor with clamshell design and undetachable parts.

Cool new styles are cloth-padded palm rest area and between keys. No screws and speaker grilles to be seen. Users will hear the sound from under the backlit keyboards where the speakers are hidden.
The company also aims to market the products to education industry with its preloaded Windows 10S (upgradable to Windows 10 Pro for a one-off cost) which differs from normal Windows 10 that it can only run applications installed from the Windows Store; a locked-down approach that should help maintain the security.
