Chiang Mai governor hit by fake Facebook account

CHIANG Mai Governor Prawin Chamniprasart alerted civil service units and the media today that he has become a victim of a Facebook impersonator account and is moving to take action against the imposters, INN News said today (May 15)

The governor circulated a message to his Line group consisting of civil servants in this northern province and the media totaling around 287 people and also shared this message with other Line media networks that an ill-intentioned party used his photos to set up a Facebook account under the name Panyan Chamratr and warned to public not to fall into any trap they might be spinning.

He added that his legal team is already checking the account and getting ready to file a report with the police.

Mr Prawin urged the public to be careful because he found out that the impersonators had worked out their content and had already tried to make friends with many businessmen.
